CHICAGO WOMEN IN TRADES CELEBRATES 25 YEARS
On,Thursday, January 26, 2006: Chicago Women in Trades launched its 25th anniversary campaign with an Open House Breakfast at CWIT's new space in Chicago's South Loop. Nearly 100 industry partners, community organizations, tradeswomen, students, and staff gathered to hear a keynote speech by Illinois Senate President Emil Jones Jr. and enjoy a breakfast that included baked goods, tea and coffee donated by Sara Lee.
CWIT President Lauren Sugerman welcomed the crowd and presented plaques to some of the organization's Build Out Partners:
