WORKSITE 2000 - FEMALE HIRING AND RETENTION INITIATIVE

Worksite 2000 WORKSITE 2000 is a successful model which has increased the numbers of women workers on construction sites and ensuring their equitable treatment on the job and during the job. Worksite 2000's vision is the construction site of the future, where tradeswomen work as equals to men, as Rosie the Riveter did during World War II. The Worksite 2000 model is designed to identify ways in which unions, project owners, contractors, training programs, women organizations and government agencies can work together to ensure female hiring and retention.
